The above table shows how Canadian Universities ranked according to Maclean’s, Times Higher Education Top 200 Global Universities and QS Top 300 Global Universities.

What you see is that the landscape is clear as mud. Each ranking uses a different methodology and therefore yields different results. My advice is that rankings are a good place to start, but not end your research. Also, look for a university that is consistently in the top when compared to its peers. But make sure that its meets all of your educational, career, geographical, social and other needs.
